Eagle Project

A community service project is a requirement to become an Eagle Scout.  This project must be of significance, and benefit an organization other then the Boy Scouts of America.  Vincent's project was to develop a list of elderly and shut-in residents in the Village of Coxsackie.  This list was compiled from various sources including absentee ballot records, area churches and meals-on-wheels.  (I remember also going door to door seeing if each and every one of these people wanted to be on the list)   After this list was finalized, it was turned over to the Coxsackie Police Department, who will act to contact these individuals in emergency situations.
